The Peanut Van has been locally owned and operated since 1969. In 1999, the original owner of The Peanut Van, Ruth, decided it was time to hand her legacy onto someone with as much passion as she had. After much searching, she found Rob & Chris Patch, and with their 40 years experience in peanut growing, the decision was made! Rob & Chris took over The Peanut Van & so the next best chapter of the Van's history began. In 2005, The Peanut Van expanded its horizons and opened a store in Childers which is still highly successful to this day!
From this moment onwards, we have continued to proudly use Australian only peanuts & original recipes to continue creating the already delicious The Peanut Van lines. As Rob says, we would close the doors before we cooked imported peanuts!
